Recall Details
This recall involves “totally me!” clay craft kits. Model number AD11244 is printed on the bottom of the box. The “totally me!” logo is printed on the front of the craft kit box.
The clay craft kits contain:
- two bricks of air dry acrylic paints
- paint brush
- three sculpting tools
- plastic rolling pin
- sponge
- 19.5” x 15.25” instructional work mat
- two texture rollers
- plastic clay cutting tool
- 12” ribbon
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled craft kits and return them to Babies“R”Us or Toys“R”Us for a full refund or store credit.
The firm has received three reports of mold in the clay. No injuries have been reported.

The recalled jewelry-making kits contain a resin that, when liquid, can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched or ingested. The resin contains an acrylate (hydroxyethylmethacrylate “HEMA”) in amounts prohibited in children’s products by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. Already created jewelry should be inspected to confirm it is fully cured. If there is liquid or any liquid residue present, the jewelry should not be worn and should be stored away from children. Once cured, the resin no longer presents the hazard.
The stools can collapse or tip over while in use, posing serious fall and injury hazards to children.
Part of the teethers’ safety snap clasp can detach, posing a choking hazard.
The recalled gates violate the federal safety regulations for expansion gates and expandable enclosures because a child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to entrapment hazard.
The recalled children’s bathrobes violate federal flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries and death to children.
The recalled crib bumpers violate the federal crib bumper ban, posing a deadly suffocation hazard to infants. Padded crib bumpers are banned by the federal Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risk of injury associated with the use of thousands of types of consumer products. Deaths, injuries, and property damage from consumer product-related incidents cost the nation more than $1 trillion annually. Since the CPSC was established more than 50 years ago, it has worked to ensure the safety of consumer products, which has contributed to a decline in injuries associated with these products.
Federal law prohibits any person from selling products subject to a Commission ordered recall or a voluntary recall undertaken in consultation with the CPSC.
