UL 8400 Biocompatibility Task Group for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality Technology Equipment

Stephen Harsanyi (Directorate of Engineering Sciences) and other CPSC staff will participate in a teleconference meeting with the UL 8400 Biocompatibility Task Group on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality Technology Equipment.  The task group plans to meet on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, ET, to discuss the requirements pertaining to biocompatibility, particularly considerations for skin contact and inhalation.  This meeting was requested by ULSE.  For additional information, including teleconference information, contact Stephen Harsanyi at SHarsanyi@cpsc.gov.  Transmitted to the Office of the Secretary and posted in the Public Calendar 1/15/2025
