CPSC pursues cooperative activities promoting consumer product safety with key stakeholders in a number of other jurisdictions in the East Asia – Pacific region.  In Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, CPSC engages regulatory agencies to improve identification and assessment of hazards to consumers and to lead efforts to improve the safety of consumer products before they reach the marketplace.
