Hazard definitions:
  1. Fire - Use of the product may lead to a fire or the product violates federal fabric flammability regulations.
  2. Burn - Use of the product may lead to experiencing burns.
  3. Heat-Related Explosion - The product may explode unintentionally.
  4. Falling - Use of the product may cause an unintentional fall.
  5. Poisoning - Use of the product may lead to poisoning.
  6. Crash - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional crash.
  7. Choking - Use of the product may lead to choking, or the product violates federal toy safety standards, or the product violates federal children clothing standards (drawstrings).
  8. Impact - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional impact that may cause injury or death.
  9. Cuts - Use of the product may lead to unintentional cuts and/or lacerations.
  10. Safety Equipment Malfunction - The safety product does not operate as intended and use of the product may lead to injury or death.

Recall Remedies - 5 Years

Note: Recall Remedy data may change daily to reflect updates to company operating status or recall remedy availability. Recalls with multiple remedies (ex. Repair and Replace) will be counted in each remedy.
  1. Refund - A customer may receive a full or partial refund, or gift card for the recalled product.
  2. Repair - The company is offering a repair to the recalled product.
  3. Replace - The company is offering a replacement for the recalled product in the form of a new product or other products of similar value.
  4. Dispose - The product should be thrown out or recycled.
  5. New Instructions - The company will issue new instructions on how the customer can make the recalled product safe.

Hazard:

The power cord can partially detach from the heater enclosure, which can lead to cord damage over time, posing electric shock and fire hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heaters and contact Vornado to confirm that their product is part of the recall and receive instructions on how to receive a free replacement heater.

Hazard:

The bolts that connect the back of the chair to its base can fail, posing a fall hazard to users.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chair until repaired, and contact Veyer to receive a free repair kit, including shipping, and installation instructions. The repair kit consists of a back bracket, three bolts, an Allen wrench and a decorative cover. Veyer is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The recalled children’s pajamas violate the flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pajamas away from children, stop using them, and contact Ivy City for a full refund. Consumers should destroy the garments by cutting them in half and disposing of them. Consumers should email Ivy City a photo of the destroyed garment at hello@ivycityco.com to receive a refund. Ivy City is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The smoke alarms can malfunction and fail to alert consumers of a fire, posing a risk of smoke inhalation or death. Smoke sensitivity tests performed on the alarms by CPSC found that one of the detectors that was tested failed to alert when exposed to pre-determined concentrations of smoke.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately contact Three61 for a free replacement alarm, including shipping. To register, consumers must write “Recalled” with a permanent marker on the smoke alarm and submit a photo of the marked product to the recall website at www.samuraibrands.com/recall. Once registered, the firm will immediately ship the replacement alarm. Consumers should keep the recalled smoke alarms installed until receiving the replacement alarm. Consumers should install the replacement alarms immediately upon receiving them. Three61 is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Note: Recalled lithium-ion batteries should be disposed of in accordance with any local and state ordinances, following the procedures established by your municipal recycling center for damaged/defective/recalled lithium batteries, because these potentially hazardous batteries must be handled differently than other batteries. Do not throw this recalled battery in the trash. Do not deposit this recalled battery in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores.

Hazard:

The door handle can stick and cause the door to unexpectedly open while the vehicle is moving and cause an unrestrained rider to be ejected from the vehicle or increase the risk of a crash, posing serious injury and crash hazards.

Remedy:

Polaris is contacting registered owners directly and providing instructions on how to inspect their door handles to verify that the doors are properly closed. This will allow some consumers to continue to safely operate their vehicles until the repair can be completed. The instructions are available here

Hazard:

The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers do not comply with the performance requirements of the STURDY Act.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled HallyBee Farmhouse 5-Drawer Dressers, if they are not properly anchored to a wall, and place them in an area that children cannot access. With a permanent marker, write the word "recalled" on the top and all sides of the dresser. Contact YKHallyBee for instructions to receive a full refund and submit a photo of disposing of the product to the firm at yueke113@163.com.

The welded connection point between the seat base and the stool post can break, presenting a fall hazard.

Remedy:

Hazard:

A metal part inside the printer can dislodge, posing a risk of fire.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled printers and contact Lexmark to receive a free repair part. The repair part snaps into the unit inside the rear access panel.

Hazard:

The helmets do not comply with the positional stability, impact labeling and certification requirements in violation of the CPSC federal safety regulation for bicycle helmets. The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and contact Wemfg for a full refund. To receive a refund, consumers should destroy the helmet by cutting off the straps, take a photo of the detached straps, and send it with their Amazon order number to the recalling firm by email at 961837339@qq.com. After submitting proof of destruction, consumers should dispose of the recalled helmet. Wemfg and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The recalled firearm sights contain a button cell battery that violates the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell batteries because the button cell batteries can be easily accessed, posing an ingestion hazard. The products include a button cell battery which is not in child-resistant packaging as required by Reese’s Law. In addition, the products do not bear the required warnings. When button cell batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death, posing an ingestion hazard to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled firearm sights and contact SIG SAUER for instructions on how to submit a picture of the serial number to receive a free recall kit, which includes a new cap with the required labeling and an updated instruction manual. Consumers will be provided with instructions on how to locate the serial number. 

NoteButton cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.

Hazard:

The water heaters pose a risk of serious injury and death due to fire and burn hazards. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to immediately dispose of the electric immersion water heaters. There is no remedy for consumers because the manufacturer is refusing to cooperate with CPSC.

Hazard:

The packaging is not child-resistant as required by Reese’s Law. Reese’s Law and CPSC regulations that implement it establish performance and warning label requirements for consumer products with button cell or coin batteries to protect children from life threatening ingestion. If a child swallows a button cell or coin battery, it can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns or death.

Consumer Action:

Because the battery packaging is not child-resistant, CPSC urges consumers to immediately secure the TIANQIU Alkaline Battery in a secure location away from children. Do not sell or give away these hazardous battery packs.

Hazard:

The dressers violate the performance and labeling requirements of the STURDY Act and CPSC’s implementing regulations, which establish a mandatory safety standard to prevent injury or death caused by clothing or storage units tipping over users, including children.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to dispose of or anchor the Rehoopex 6-Drawer Dresser to a wall. Do not sell or give away these hazardous clothing storage units.

Hazard:

Fire pits that require consumers to pour isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or other liquid fuel into an open container or bowl and then ignite the pooled liquid in the same location it was poured violate the requirements in voluntary safety standard ASTM F3363-19. 

Flame jetting, a second hazard, can occur when refilling alcohol or other liquid-burning fire pits if any flame is present. 

Consumer Action:

Consumers should immediately stop using and dispose of these products. Sellers should stop selling these products.

Hazard:

The exposed metal tip at the top of the soccer goal’s vertical poles poses a hazard if a consumer falls onto the tip during typical athletic play around the goal.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the soccer goals immediately and to dispose of them. CPSC urges consumers not to buy the soccer goals. If you own one, do not sell it or give it away.

Hazard:

Using alcohol-fueled FLIKRFIRE Tabletop Fireplaces can cause uncontrollable pool fires in which flames burn across the surface of pooled or spilled alcohol, as well as flame jetting from fuel containers, resulting in serious or fatal burns.

Consumer Action:

Consumers should immediately stop using and dispose of these dangerous products.

Hazard:

The toy guns fail to comply with federal safety regulations for projectile toys, so that the projectile’s impact can injure a child’s eye.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the toy guns immediately and dispose of them in accordance with local disposal requirements. Do not sell or give away these hazardous toy guns.

Hazard:

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers about the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and smoke inhalation associated with the use of Tiergrade combination smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors. The detectors can fail to alert consumers to the presence of hazardous carbon monoxide and smoke.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers not to purchase or sell these combination smoke and CO detectors. Stop using and dispose of these products immediately, and install new, working smoke and CO detectors. Report a dangerous product or a product-related injury on www.SaferProducts.gov.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the iFanze Area Rugs immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous rugs.

Hazard:

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning consumers to immediately stop using and dispose of Zhengxin Arts Vertical Box Hammer Case Pounding Ball Table Toys because the toys have small balls that pose a choking hazard to young children. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the toys immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous toys.
