Recall Details
This recall involves two models of the Tommee Tippee Movement and Sound Baby Monitors with Sensor Pads. The product comes in three parts; the baby unit, parent unit and the movement sensor pad. The pad is white with a 10 foot cord that runs from the pad to the baby monitor unit. Both models come with a sensor pad that fits under the baby's crib mattress and sounds an alarm if no movement is detected for 20 seconds. There is a keypad and small screen above the keypad on both the baby unit and the parent unit. The recalled products include models 1082S and 1094S. Model 1094S includes a night-vision video camera. Model numbers are located on the bottom of the base of the recharger and also on the bottom of the camera.
Consumers should immediately make sure all monitor cords are out of reach of the child and contact Mayborn USA for a free cord cover kit that includes rigid protective cord covers through which the sensor pad cords can be threaded, a new, permanent electric cord warning label about the strangulation risk, and revised instructions.
No injuries have been reported.

The spacing between some of the crib’s slats is wider than allowed under the federal safety standard, posing an entrapment hazard to children.
The recalled crib bumpers violate the federal crib bumper ban, posing a suffocation hazard to infants. Padded crib bumpers are banned by the federal Safe Sleep for Babies Act.
The swing should never be used for sleep and bedding materials should never be added to it. If the product is used for sleep or bedding material is added, the headrest and body support insert on the seat pad can increase the risk of suffocation.
The recalled playpens violate the federal safety regulations for play yards. The included basketball hoop accessory can be a head entrapment hazard and children can become entrapped beneath the mattress, posing a suffocation hazard.
The recalled Baby Tummy Time Gallery art card pockets have clear plastic coverings that contain levels of a phthalate that exceeds the federal phthalates ban. Phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
The recalled high chairs violate the regulations for high chairs, as the leg openings on the high chair are too wide, posing an entrapment hazard to infants. Additionally, the high chairs pose a fall hazard because the tray can become disengaged from the product.

CPSC's work to ensure the safety of consumer products has contributed to a decline in the rate of injuries associated with consumer products over the past 50 years.
