Kristen Talcott of Engineering Sciences and other staff will be participating in a hybrid virtual/in-person meeting with the ASTM F15.42 Furniture Subcommittee on May 23, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET) in West Conshohocken, PA. This meeting will include discussion of potential changes to standards for clothing storage units (ASTM F2057) and tip restraints for clothing storage units (ASTM F3096). It will also include discussion of potential new standards for non-sealed storage chests, recliners, and wall beds, and other furniture safety-related topics. The meeting was requested by ASTM.
