磁铁信息中心

强力磁铁对从幼童到十几岁青少年的儿童都有安全风险。因食入或吸入磁铁而受伤的事故数量正在上升。这些事故是严重的，有时是致命的。

若吞咽两块或更多块磁铁，他们在人体内相互吸引。很多事故最终必须进行手术以移除磁铁。在不得不采取手术来移除磁铁时，还可能需要对儿童受损的胃部和肠道进行修补。

需注意观察的医学症状有：肚子疼、恶心、呕吐和腹泻。
在X光片中，多块磁铁可能看上去像是一个物体。

这些强力磁铁不是爷爷家冰箱门上的那些磁铁。他们的磁力可以比玩具中使用的磁铁强8倍。

本委员会工作人员在2020年6月出版了一套关于磁铁套件的信息简报。

Notices of Magnet Violations

CPSC issues a Notice of Violation (NOV) when it determines a company has violated a mandatory standard. The NOV advises the company of the violation and specifies the appropriate corrective action.
The chart below shows notice violations to companies that marketed their magnetic balls and cubes to children in violation of federal safety standards for toys and recalls.
