WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Name of Product: Giant Starbuilder and Giant Stars building sets

Units: About 13,500

Distributor: Edushape Ltd., of Deer Park, N.Y.

Hazard: Plastic knobs can break from the center of the star, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Incidents/Injuries: CPSC and Edushape have received three reports of knobs breaking off from the center of the star. No injuries have been reported.

Description: This recall involves all Giant Starbuilders and Giant Stars building sets. The giant stars measure 5-inches in diameter and are made of opaque plastic. Each star has six knobs protruding from a ring-shaped center. The Giant Starbuilder set contains red, green, yellow and blue stars. The Giant Star building set contains red, green, yellow, blue, orange and pink stars.

Sold at: Small retail stores nationwide and online at Target.com, Toys R Us.com, Amazon.com and CSN through Walmart Marketplace from January 2007 through May 2010 for between $25 and $35.

Manufactured in: China

Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the recalled star blocks away from children and contact Edushape for a replacement set or credit towards another Edushape product of equal or lesser value.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Guidecraft Inc., of Winthrop, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 1,800 (in the United States) and 350 (in Canada) 4-in-1 Dramatic Play Theater toys. The recalled children's toys can unexpectedly tip over during play, posing an entrapment hazard to young children.

Additional Injuries Prompt JAKKS Pacific® to Reannounce Recall of Spa Factory™ Aromatherapy Kits Due to Explosion and Projectile Hazards
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with JAKKS Pacific, is reannouncing the recall of 516,000 Spa Factory Aromatherapy Fountain & Bath Benefits Kits. Consumers should immediately take the toy's jars and caps away from children and dispose of any jar lids without vent holes. Only use jars that have lids with vent holes. Pressure from the buildup of carbon dioxide in the jars of Bath Bombs/Balls or Bath Fizzies that come with the kits can cause the unvented lids to blow off, posing explosion and projectile hazards. The flying pieces also can cause property damage. Additionally, the mixture of water with the Bath Bombs/Balls or Bath Fizzies can create citric acid. This acid can get into consumers' eyes when the jars explode, posing a risk of eye irritation.

Fisher-Price Recalls Infant Toys with Inflatable Balls Due to Choking Hazard

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Fisher-Price Inc., of East Aurora, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 2.8 million Baby Playzone Crawl & Cruise Playgrounds, Baby Playzone Crawl & Slide Arcades , Baby Gymtastics Play Wall, Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium (C3068 and H8094), 1-2-3 Tetherballs, and Bat & Score Goals (in the United States and 125,000 in Canada). The valve of the inflatable ball on these toys can come off and pose a choking hazard to young children.
