Hazard definitions:
  1. Fire - Use of the product may lead to a fire or the product violates federal fabric flammability regulations.
  2. Burn - Use of the product may lead to experiencing burns.
  3. Falling - Use of the product may cause an unintentional fall.

Hazard:

The recalled bath seats violate the mandatory standard for infant bath seats because they are unstable and can tip over while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to drowning.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled bath seats immediately and contact ONTHEWEI for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to destroy the bath seat by writing in permanent marker “RECALLED” on the front of the bath seat, disassembling it by removing the back rest and arm restraints and cutting the three suction cups on the seat’s underside and send a photo of the destroyed bath seat showing the marked product to onthewei@outlook.com. Consumers should then dispose of the recalled product.

Hazard:

The seats, metal carabiners or quick links, or webbing straps of the recalled swing seats can break during use, posing a risk of serious injury due to fall hazard. 

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled swing seats immediately and contact Pacearth Direct for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write “RECALLED” on the swing seat with permanent marker, take a photo of it, including the PACEARTH logo and email to recall@pacearth.com.

Hazard:

The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in risks of serious injuries or death to children. The dressers violate the mandatory safety standards as required by the STURDY Act.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall, place them in an area that children cannot access and contact Romorgniz for a full refund. Consumers will be asked to write in permanent marker “RECALLED” on the top, front and sides of the dresser, remove all drawers and send photos of the marked and disassembled dresser to Romorgnizrecall@outlook.com. Consumers should then dispose of the product.

Hazard:

The fireplace’s lava rocks can ignite and explode when heated in the propane insert, posing a risk of serious injury or death from burn and fire hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the propane insert and lava rocks fireplace accessories immediately and contact Snow Peak for a full refund. Consumers will be provided with a prepaid shipping label to return the propane insert and lava rocks. For replacement lava rocks only, the consumer can keep the propane inserts, and the firm will ship replacement lava rocks to the consumer. Do not use inserts until replacement lava rocks are received. Consumers should dispose of the recalled lava rocks in accordance with any local and state ordinances.

Hazard:

Grass and debris can accumulate in the trimmer mowers and ignite, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled trimmer mowers immediately and contact DR Power Equipment for a free repair kit. If consumers have concerns about installing the repair kit, contact DR Power Equipment to schedule a free repair installation from an authorized dealer.

Hazard:

The recalled medals violate the mandatory safety standard for magnets because the high-powered magnets may detach, posing a deadly ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the Avengers Infinity Gauntlet Medal immediately and contact The Conqueror for instructions on receiving a full refund or a replacement medal. Consumers will be asked to cut the ribbon from the medal and write “RECALLED” in permanent marker on the medal and ribbon, throw the product away and email a photo of the disposed medal and ribbon to support@theconqueror.events.

Hazard:

The recalled bicycles’ front lock nut can loosen during use, causing the front wheel to dislodge or loosen over time, posing a crash hazard. 

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled bicycles immediately and take them to the nearest Recreational Equipment (REI Co-op) location for a free inspection and repair service of the front fork assembly. Anyone unable to visit an REI Co-op location can contact Decathlon Customer Service directly for assistance. Recalled models can be identified by the Van Rysel Product ID on the top right of the product label under the frame, beginning with the number 5.

Hazard:

The LED-light key that was included with certain SureLock Bicycle Lock sets violates the mandatory safety standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because the button batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the packaging and product do not have the warnings required under Reese’s Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled LED-light key that was included with certain SureLock Bicycle Lock sets immediately and contact Giant Bicycle for a $5 refund. Consumers will be asked to bring the LED key to an authorized Giant retailer to participate in the recall and receive the refund. When returning the LED-light key to a retailer, consumers will be required to bring either the complete bicycle lock purchase or a picture of the serial number on the bicycle lock in order to verify the serial number is in the scope of the recall. Consumers may continue to use the bicycle lock and non-LED-light keys included with the SureLock Bicycle Lock sets.  

Note: Button and Coin cell batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures.

Hazard:

The lithium-ion battery and electrical components in the recalled hand warmers can overheat and ignite, posing a risk of serious injury from fire and burn hazards.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled hand warmers immediately and contact Gobi Heat for a full refund or store credit, equal to full refund of the purchase price plus 20% of that amount. Consumers will be asked to go to https://gobiheat.com/pages/handwarmer-recall to obtain a claim number and instructions to destroy the hand warmers by writing in permanent marker “Recalled” on the product and send a photo, showing the marked hand warmer and the product’s model, to recall@gobiheat.com. Consumers should then dispose of the recalled product with the lithium-ion battery, in accordance with applicable local and state hazardous waste regulations. 

Note: Do not throw this recalled lithium-ion battery or device in the trash, the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries, because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to a HHW collection center, contact that office ahead of time and ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.

Hazard:

The front bolt in the seat post clamping mechanism can break, causing the seat to become loose, posing a fall hazard. 

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled bicycles immediately and contact Gazelle USA to receive a free replacement seat post and saddle that consumers can either install themselves with no special tools or take to an Urban Arrow dealer to be installed at no charge. Consumers will be asked to fill out a recall registration form at https://forms.gle/1Nir9NrR7aJcpwRk8. Consumers can locate their nearest dealer at https://urbanarrow.com/dealers.

Hazard:

The crib bumpers can obstruct an infant’s breathing, posing a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation. Padded crib bumpers are banned under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the crib bumpers immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous crib bumpers.

The top bunk slats can fail causing the frame and top bunk to collapse, posing a risk of serious injury or death from asphyxiation and injury hazards. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to immediately remove, replace and dispose of the bunk beds. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products.

Hazard:

The pressure washers lack an integrated immersion protection device on or near the power plug, also known as a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI), and lack an adequate-length power cord, posing a risk of death or serious injury due to electrocution and shock. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the pressure washers immediately, and destroy them by unplugging, cutting the power cord, and disposing of them.  Do not sell or give away these hazardous pressure washers.

If the Jocoevol 6-Drawer Dressers are not anchored to the wall, the unstable dressers pose tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in serious injuries or death to children.  

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the Jocoevol 6-Drawer Dresser immediately and dispose of it in accordance with local disposal requirements or anchor it securely to the wall. Do not sell or give away these hazardous clothing storage units.

The drain covers violate the mandatory safety standard under the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA) because they do not bear the required product markings, posing entrapment and drowning hazards. The drain covers also violate the safety requirements by not stating the service life of the covers, installation instructions and maintenance instructions.

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to remove, replace and dispose of the drain covers immediately and stop using pools with the drain covers until the covers have been replaced. Do not sell or give away these hazardous products. Ensure all pools and spas have VGBA-compliant drain covers and teach children to stay away from drains.

The drain covers do not conform to the entrapment protection standards of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA), posing an entrapment hazard to swimmers and bathers. The drain covers also violate the safety requirements because they do not bear the required product markings, statements regarding the service life of the covers and installation and maintenance instructions. 

Consumer Action:

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the swim jet combination drain covers immediately and stop using pools with the combination drain covers. Consumers should destroy the drain covers by unplugging, cutting the power cord, and disposing of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous drain covers. Ensure all pools and spas have VGBA-compliant drain covers and teach children to stay away from drains.
