The regulations for lead-based paint published in the Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) I Title 16, Part 1303 describe bans on lead-containing paint and certain consumer products bearing lead-containing paint. Refer to these regulations for toys or other articles intended for use by children and for furniture with coatings containing lead.
